This page explains the basic data handling position for the Velocity at Max Parts launch MVP. It should be reviewed before full commercial launch.
Who we are
Velocity at Max Parts is a UK-focused vehicle parts sourcing and aggregator platform. You can contact us at parts@velocityatmax.com.
What data we collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details, registration number if provided, OEM or part numbers, part descriptions, request notes and technical usage information such as server logs.
Why we use the data
We use enquiry data to respond to part requests, check compatibility, source suitable listings, prevent abuse, maintain the website and improve the service. We do not use buyer request data for seller self-service, checkout or payment workflows in Phase 1.
Legal basis
For UK users, we generally process enquiry data because it is necessary to respond to your request before entering into a possible transaction, and because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Sharing
If needed to fulfil a sourcing request, we may share limited request details with relevant parts suppliers, breakers, dismantlers or refurbishers. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep request records only for as long as reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, maintain business records, resolve disputes and improve sourcing quality. Old records should be reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, subject to lawful limits. Contact parts@velocityatmax.com with any privacy request.
